GALLERY GROUP SHOW

This new painting is called, "Paris, City of Lights". It is 18 x 24 inches, oil on canvas.

I wanted to let everyone know about my group show that opens this Saturday evening, March 10th, at the Tirage Gallery in Pasadena. I will be exhibiting four new Paris paintings and one large drawing. It is a themed show called, "Foreign Shores".

Thanks Michelle, I enjoyed working with the Paris theme. It actually helped me focus my regular artwork, I feel like my new SoCal paintings benefited.

I love your blues & greens in this one! They're very bold. Plus they seem to bounce your eyes around to the other side and to see the more muted bricks.

Thanks BG, the color at night is really interesting to me. It has a way of maintaintig a simplified palette, much like a painting. The only problem is that a camera can rarely capture the night color, I have to retain alot of what it looked like from memory.
